QT started with a simple question.
Working behind the bar in Ghent, Bart watched what people ordered night after night. Beer, sodas, mixers... Almost everything relied on carbonation.
At the same time, Laurent had spent years avoiding carbonated drinks altogether. Not by preference, but because his body simply couldn’t handle them in larger amounts.
So we asked ourselves:
Why does every drink have bubbles?
We decided to build something different.
QT starts with cold-brewed organic oolong tea.
We bring it to 5% alcohol and finish it with a light fruit note.
The result is a refreshing alternative to the overly sweet, carbonated drinks that dominate the bar.
